Greetings Shipmate,

Welcome to the USS Meredith Association.  We received your name and address from one of several sources (we found you or you found us) and I am sending you several items.

We invite you to join our association and have your name placed on our 500+ name roster covering the entire time the ship was in commission.  We have had 16 reunions to date (the last at Washington, DC. in October 2007).  The 17th reunion is scheduled for Sept 30 to Oct 4 2008 inCincinnati,OH.   We hope you can join us for some great fun and reminiscing.

If you have kept in touch with any of your shipmates over the years would you please send me their names and addresses so we may also contact them. If you have a cruise book from your time aboard would you also please photocopy the crew list and send me a copy (we are still missing many of them) as we find them useful for locating former crewmembers.
